The Heritage Interpretation Center

The Heritage Interpretation Center, located at the very heart of Warsaw's Old Town, forms an integral part of the Warsaw Museum. It was created to showcase the process of destruction and rebuilding of the Old Town, which is now listed among UNESCO's World Heritage sites (as an example of a near-total reconstruction of a historical architectural complex). In addition to the permanent exhibition, consisting of multimedia presentations, animations, photographs and displays depicting the post-war history of the Old Town, the Centre regularly organizes meetings and lectures.

If you have followed the World War II Tour, already visited the Warsaw Uprising Museum and wish to learn more about the post-war history of Warsaw, i.e. the period during which the Polish capital was rebuilt, the Heritage Interpretation Centre is a place you should visit.

A visit to the Center is also an interesting addition to a tour around Warsaw's Old Town and its cellars.
