For representatives of older generations, a visit to the Museum is a sentimental journey to the times of their youth; for younger visitors, it is an opportunity to learn about the world in which their parents grew up. The place is filled with memorabilia from the period of the Polish People's Republic, some of which can still be found in the nooks and crannies of old apartments.
The museum is located in the district of Praga, in a building erected in the 1950s as the headquarters of the Polish Optical Factory.
