Warsaw is full of palaces, gardens and residences that testify to the city's old royal traditions. The tour will take you to most magnificent palaces that have played a major role in Polish history and culture (from the outside) and learn about their former owners: royal and noble families.
Two options are available: shorter (a walk) and longer (a walk + a bus tour).
Walk
Sights include:
- the Old Town: the Royal Castle, Copper Roof Palace, Krasinski Palace, Pac Palace, Branicki Palace,
- the Royal Route: Staszic Palace, Tyszkiewicz Palace, Presidential Palace,
- Piłsudski Square (formerly Saski): non-existing Saski Palace and Bruhl Palace,
Suggested duration of the trip: 2 hours
The tour does not include visiting the above sites. Visits to the Royal Castle, the Palace on the Island in Łazienki Park or Wilanów Palace can be organized.
It is possible to include visit the Old Town in a horse-drawn tram or a carriage.
