On board, it is possible to organize a meal in the form of a buffet, as well as guided commentary about the city and the river. The Stalmach is a sturdy vessel that has served on Warsaw’s waterfront for many years and has German origins. The boat reportedly once served as an icebreaker on the Oder River. It arrived in Warsaw in the 1990s and underwent a major shipyard renovation a few years ago, setting a new standard for the Warsaw stretch of the Vistula. The Stalmach has two decks, with the upper deck partially covered. The vessel is registered for 52 passengers, though it comfortably accommodates groups of up to 40. It is possible to arrange onboard refreshments, a barbecue, or an open bar.
