This monumental complex of buildings from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries is the former "Gas Factory on Czyste" – today known as the Gasworks on Kasprzaka Street. During our tour, we'll see impressive neo-Gothic buildings, learn about Warsaw's streets lit by gas lanterns, explore the workings of perfectly preserved old machines and technological devices, and see unique exhibits, including the first curling iron and flat iron! We'll also learn about the incredible history and achievements of the outstanding Polish inventor and independence activist, Ignacy Łukasiewicz.
